    Default NES Repair...

I am working on repairing my first NES... I got the new connector in fine, it was easy (bdbd nice motherboard connector, buck)... but after about 15 minutes and 4 game changes the stupid thing went right back to blinking... I guess I'm going to have to try to clean all the games now. The pins are REALLY tight on this new connector, I hope they didn't either bend or destroy the game connectors...

Amen to that! Yeah, you have to make sure your games are all cleaned, clean all of them after you replace the PIN connector, then it should be fine.

I've been cleaning everything as I get it... but on the carts, does it not say not to use alcohol?

They were thinking there is live voltage in there and an amateur could injure themselves by opening it.

Like the time I tried fixing a T.V. and blew up the Capacitor.
OMG that was a loud explosion.
    Haven't touched a T.V. since.
