Thats easy. A working 3DO FZ-1 at a flea market for the grand sum of...$1.00. Not only did it work but it had the launch game Crash and Burn inside of it.

My best score was an APF MP-1000 and 7 boxed games I found for $5 at a community yard sale in Palatka, FL.

Worst part is...my fucking mother threw it out when I moved out.

Why do parents do that? I remember years ago when we moved to another house my mom threw out my entire baseball card and comic book collections. I never got into baseball cards again after that, but I eventually started collecting comics again.

wow alot of your guy's "excellent finds" kinda suck and are still alot of money.

    mine would probally be.
Boxed complete 2600 4 switch w/ extra power brick and 4 common games $15
Rental Virtual boy in hard plastic case all items accounted for + rental instructions $1
Boxed nintendo challenge set (with playes guide sticker) $15
Atari 2600 heavy sixer w/ power brick only and 60 games for $10
Complete Dragon Quest Series for Famicom ~$15 including taxes and customs fees

that last one was part of my robbing japan of some of their harder to find things, like a twin famicom and other stuff, but i bought alot of common games, i probally spent about $500 in games and consoles over there, thats alot of money but to buy it all here probally woulda cost me $2k+

oh and if you have a chance, i asked this before i went over there, YES ITS WORTH IT TO BRING YOUR EXTRAS! there are import stores in japan that are liiking for NES decks and Atari stuff along with the other usual stuff found here

Those two things contradict themselves. I've been buried under VCS consoles for years, I'm just now beginning to climb out as I sell them off after AV modding them.

    Nice deal for earthbound.

My best pick up on ebay was a used, but mint copy of Nocturne on the ps2, for $35. Took a chance on a low feedback seller, and nobody else bid.

I'm just curious who you are talking about because it didn't seem like there were any bad deals listed.

My best find ever has to be the Earthbound cart I bought at Gamecrazy.
It was a 3 games for $10 deal, so I got it for a little under $5!
    In Heaven, everything is fine.

no but they werent a super great deal on page one where some people listed piticular items for $50 or more, it may have been good but not super great.

i also think davids tired of atari so hes gonna bash it. it kinda depnds on where you are theres hardly any of that type of stuff here any more so to find a complete boxed 2600 for $15 is really good considering it wasnt a silver box. most of my atari stuff now has copme from shopgoodwill.com usually can sneak a good deal quite often there but nothing to brag about.
i'm up to 6 different types of atari consoles

Off the top of my head...

All three Panasean NES games, complete for $7 a piece (sold on eBay for a good amount)
Myriad 6 cart complete: $7 (sold in an email auction)
Action 52 NES cart complete: $7
    Tengen Tetris (loose): $2
    Phantasy Star (complete): 25 cents
Keio Flying Squadron (complete) and Shining Force III (complete): maybe a $1 each? They were part of a lot that included a complete boxed Saturn and a loose Sega CD with a bunch of complete complete games for $30.
Boxed C64-C with floppy drive, monitor, fast load cart and a ton of disks (all hardware works): $15
Game Informer Mags of various months and varying conditions: 10 cents a piece

Found FF7 today for $5 and passed on it. Disc #2 had too many scuffs and didn't want to deal with it.

    Just some of my latest:

    Snow Brothers- $3
    Breath of Fire 3 (PSX) - $5
Sega Saturn System - $3 - Near Mint, hardly played. battery still had the little slip under it.
Blast lacrosse - $2.92 - just last week

My friend used to be the manager at salvation Army so he would set aside all the the new video game stuff in the back. I would go in there weekly and have first dibs before he set it out on the floor.

I used to get stuff dirt cheap. one time i wen in there and picked up:

    (2) Dreamcasts - complete
Sega Saturn complete - with 4 controllers
    Sega Racing Wheel
    3 SNES systems
    1 NES system
    2 genesis
    Sega Gamegear
    NEO GEO Pocket
about 30 games including Super Metorid, Super Marios AS, DK Country 1-3, FF2, FF3, Secret of Mana, Lufia, Mega Man X2, Wizard Of OZ, Brigandine, Way of the Samurai 2, Romance of the 3 Kingdoms VII, etc....

Plus a bunch of other stuff. i had like 6 boxes i took home.

    My price: $12.99

Asked about video games at a yardsale a few years ago that I only saw a copy of Warcraft 3 at and the girl said they had a Nintendo that they never use and brought out this NES & SNES stuff which I got for $10.

Dragon Force (No Manual) - .99 at Salvation Army

Only thing worth mentioning in this picture is the sealed Street Fighter II for the SNES I found the 3 sealed games at a yardsale and offered $4 for all 3 of them.
