Here's some pics of the mod so far. I still need to notch the case but I was waiting to get another A/V port to use as a guide. (hint hint)

The first two pics are from my first test to try and clean up the normal top loader horizontal lines from the RF picture. It helped lighten them up fairly well. The later ones are from the full composite mod, I left the RF hooked up as well. The composite output picture is very clean.

Sorry some of the pictures are not the greatest, I'm not a very good photograher.

before finalizing your mod, grab an av cable and a multimeter and measure for resistance between the inside and outside of the yellow rca connector with the cable not connected to anything. all the european ones i have seen have a 75 ohm resistor in the cable. i heard a rumour that it was pal ones only that had this, not ntsc.. but i need confirmation.
if your cable has one, you may need to take it into account. an unrequired 75 ohm termination is going to result in a darker than usual image.

Well, the mod is finalized except cutting the case. I think the resistor is only used in PAL cables but regardless the picture looks fine. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Heh, yeah hopefully it turns up soon.
I'm hoping to have this finished so I can bring it along to the SC3 meet in a couple weeks.

I just checked and it tests out with 0 resistance. So no resistors at all.
