Original Halo 1 for xbox going up?

I heard the original xbox Halo 1 in the grren case is being sought after...is this true? If so, what are people paying for a copy?

Some stores still sell this for $15 used but I'd say $10 is what it's really worth because of how many millions are out there.

At one point there were more copies of Halo1 sold then there were Xbox1 systems... That may still be the case as they're still printing halo 1.

Really? I find that amusing since from my end most Xbox/360 owners already have Halo 1, 2, and 3. Are there that many new buyers of the 360 that have never touched Halo 1?

I would never pay more than $10 for a copy of Halo now, too many available. BTW, I own all three Halo's and never played the 1st one, crazy I know.

If you can find a copy at EB/GS, they are all $24.99 used. If you can find one of the reprints at one of the big box retailers, they are an easy $10 pickup.

EB Games/Gamestop also has the habit of "opening" the new copies to sell them as "used" as their used price is higher than the new MSRP.

Which is funny since all their "new" games have been opened anyway and probably played by the employees as part of their "rental system."

Thats why you shouldn't buy "new" games from EB/Gamestop. Maybe they'll get the hint one day that people who buy new games actually like to be the first to open said games. After all, if we wanted sloppy seconds we would just buy used games.
