Default NeoGeo Pocket Color and Wonderswan Color, fair price?

I'm looking to buy a Wonderswan Color w/ FFII and a NeoGeo Pocket Color w/ Metal Slug 2nd mission. Is 85$ CDN too much for both of them? If not, what's a fair counter-offer?

    Thanks!

A loose NGPC and Metal Slug 2nd mission are maybe worth $25-$30 USD together. Both complete, we are talking more like $50-$60. Those are low end figures I guess. I have no idea on the wonderswan stuff, but I would think that asking price is too high.

I will agree it may be a bit on the high side - I cant say for the wonderswan but I just got a NeoGeo Pocket color still in the box with manuals and all along with PacMan and Bust a Move 2 for $20 bucks on ebay.

I can't see spending much more than $25 for an NGPC, and I think you can get one for $10 (loose, no game) pretty easily.

Swan color isn't so desirable, if it's a Swan Crystal then it's more desirable. FFII is dirt common for the Swan, but usually goes for 1000 yen-ish ($9 or so). I'd say a Swan color would be about the same.

I've seen Crystals on ebay for reasonable prices pretty often. Just poke around for a while, something nicely priced will turn up!

Quick note about the swan, is it just the swan unit and FFII separate, or are you talking about the complete limited edition set? The price point changes a bit if we're talking about that set and the condition of all of the contents of said set.

Agreed - the FFII set is worth a good $40, IMO. Probably more in N America, I think.

Yup, if you watch the auctions you can get complete virgin SwanCrystals in the $20.00 range on eBay, picked up a few of them a couple years ago for that and a little less. I sold all but the Wine Red one I kept for myself to friends for the matching price I paid.

Thanks all, I offered 65$ back and haven't heard anything. Oh well, I'll just go another route!

It's a Swan and FFII separate, not the bundle. I just heard back from him, a counter-offer of 70. I guess nobody offered better.

I don't know, I'm torn. I could get one on eBay, but finding one locally is part of the hunt, even though it's always more. They're also very uncommon to come across in my region.

    *sigh*

Wonder Swan's use to be on ebay for fairly cheap a few years ago. I got both a WS Crystal and WS Color brand new for around $20 each. As for the games, many sellers over price them individually, but you can get good deals on them when you buy them in lots.

There's your answer, IMO. Unless it's a ridiculous price (which its not, really), by local for the fun of it. And it's a better story than "I bought this off eBay."

    Thanks.

I think I will snag it!
