    Default Turbografx 16 repairs

I am new to the TG-16. The one I have is not responding in a way that allows gaming (it will power on, but the screen will just kind of flip with random colors). Since changing games makes no difference I figured I would dive inside to give it a cleaning and once over, however I cannot locate anything walking through the disassembly and I have hit a roadblock after removing the underside of the casing.

    Thanks for any direction.

Don't know if this is any help, but I had a similar problem with a TG-16 I picked up a few months ago at a yard sale. The problem with this one was the RF connector was loose and it would cause the screen to be all funny. Playing around with the RF adapter solved the problem some, and using an NES RF adapter worked much better on the TG-16. Not sure if you are having the same problem, but good luck anyway.

Thanks, still not getting a response beyond scrolling color and no sound. Nothing resembling graphics has shown up.

I have one with the same problem nothing but a white screen or purple screen sometimes. Tell us if you figure it out.

Well my problem was the wrong type of AC adapter. That fixed it right up.
