My favourite one was his Atari 5200 one, only because I can relate to his pains in that video.

If they're putting up a new one tonight, they'd better hurry because the evening is ticking on.

Great as always, if a little short. Definitely light on anger, but high on info. Can't wait for part two with the Zelda abominations.

    Not the Zelda abominations again!

But I suppose it's the next logical step after Superman 64 and Deadly Towers.

    Geez, two damaged CD-i consoles?

To think, I always wanted one...

I don't know what his deal was. I got a cd-i from goodwill and have never had a problem with it. i got zelda: wind of gamelon sealed for like $30 as well, so he should adjust his prices.

This just makes me want to get burn cycle even more.

I guess you got luckier on prices then he did. Anyway, Zelda's next!

It wasn't bad but it's not his best that's for sure. Just because he had bad luck doesn't mean everyone will. Look at how many NES systems you'd need to go through to get one that works first try.

I enjoyed the intro where it showed his collection in detail.

Is it odd that I kind of want to try Hotel Mario after watching that? Also, yay, 1,000 posts.

Yeah, it actually didn't seem all that bad. I suppose he's setting us up for Zelda.

For what it's worth, I don't know where he's getting these consoles from (eBay??), but there are no new units here. So, he clearly got unlucky with two bad consoles. And if the prices for Zelda is that high, I'll never, ever buy them. Jesus.

Ha! Now you're stuck. One more post and you're not at 1000 anymore.

I got both those Zeldas sealed for $50. But that was awhile ago and the prices may have shot up since.

Zelda's Adventure has always been a little pricy though. But $186 just seems outrageous.

Just watched the video a second time and I gotta say it was...underwhelming.

Thought he would start running out the gate guns blazing, but so far....where's the rage? Where's the anger? Here I thought he'd at least rip the poorly drawn Mario clips. Is Mario's pants flashing?

Zelda games are up next. I'm looking forward to this one. Although they weren't widely received, the idea playing as Zelda is an interesting concept. Wonder when Miyamoto will do a Zelda game playing AS Zelda?

So far, the CD-i feature isn't up there with "Double Vision" and the 5200 feature, but it isn't one of his worst episodes either. Great intro.

I actually liked this episode a lot. I appreciate his subtlety. He's less heavy-handed with the anger, and does a good job of explaining why the game sucks. For the first time in one of his reviews, I totally see his problems with Hotel Mario. My experience with that game is quite limited, but I feel like he's not exaggerating the problems with it like he does most of the time.

I dunno, I really liked this video.
