As usual, I don't agree with anyone in this thread as I found the turd to be pretty funny.

I thought the joke was tired more of the same gross humor.Dunno...maybe "the avgn is runnng out of ideas" or he thought it was the only way to keep the viewer attention.Still i now know,what kind of console the odyssey was.You could say a board game for your tv.I did laugh at the end when he shot the tv with the lightgun though.

It seems like after every video there's a ton of people that show up just to bitch about his language and humor. If you don't like his style why continue to watch his show? There are other reviewers on youtube that focus on straight up facts without all the theatrics. Let the man have his fucking schtick. :P

Actually, I'm pretty flabbergasted at the amount of criticism I read about this totally free entertainment every time a new video comes out. What is there to be so disappointed about? There's essentially no tangible investment on the viewer's part.

Personally I wasnt dissapointed, I just found the turd irritating. I remain a supporter of the AVGN. Most of my angst gets directed to that Irate gamer.

I think most people are disappointed with his recent videos and complain because they miss the quality from his earlier videos and are hoping that the quality will rise again. The quality kept getting better up until he switched to Gametrailers, then it peaked and stayed around the same level(while dipping a few times). People will only move on to other people when they stop caring, but that would be worse for him.

I was expecting the intro music guy to return for this, it seems a bunch of other people expected this too.

But the Video was cool. It was funny and to be honest I've seen an odyssey in action for the time in my life. Pretty interesting.
Although you can say that you didnt miss much, its interesting to see the first approaches to video gaming. I mean, its not like they could get Ideas or Inspirations from other systems, so they probably did a good job, where the other companies could improve from at a later time.

I don't know what all the complaining is for, this is one of James' best episodes yet. He reviewed a system few have seen in action, had lots of funny jokes, and some cool effects.
