Default Gameboy Advance is going the way of the dino...

Yeah I know that the DS has been out since 2004, but I've seen a huge dry-up within local chains and gamestops lately. It seems like getting a new game complete is more challenging than ever. I guess we all better get the remaining good gba games from gamestop before they pull the plug on carrying them.

Well, for the exception of pokemon, most of the games are under the 10.00 mark now. They are already trying to stop carrying them.

Bah! I still can't find these famous $10 GBA games hereabouts, with the exception of one local indie place (which seems to be trying to clear out some overstock on a couple of titles) and the occasional item pulled from the depths of The Source (formerly Radio Shack).

Toys R Us and Zellers (and to some extent Wal-Mart) all have nice healthy stacks of GBA games from what I've seen, and none of them are cheaper than $20. Even the discount bin at the local convenience store (stocked with the likes of Gunstar Super Heroes and Mega Man Zero 4) doesn't have games cheaper than that.

(By the way, if you happen to see Mario vs Donkey Kong, Warioware Mega Microgames, or Kirby & The Amazing Mirror, I'd really like to know!)

A CD store and my local Walmart have new copies of Warioware for the GBA for 19.99.... Been sitting there for ages. My gamestop has new copies of Gunstar Super Heroes for 4.99. They still have the box and all.

Yeah, the TRU near me has plenty of GBA games marked at $29.99 still. Ditto for MicroCenter. Stacks.

many games are indeed 10 or less. in gamestop they are either used or marked as used (most places ive seen have thrown out hte boxes and jsut sell the carts at their used prices).

ff6 is still 30$ retail, not only that, but it has been discontinued a while ago and is rather difficult to find places new. and still rings up at 30 at places like sears and toys r us... if you can find it.

Used GBA games are still plentiful around here. It's still easy to find new games, but some stores have stopped carrying them or have a limited stock. For example, some of the local GameCrazy stores shipped most of their new GBA stock to other locations, and all that's left at most of those stores are the newer Pokemon games and a few of the later releases (if they have any GBA stuff at all). At Fred Meyer, all that's left is the clearance stuff and what's in the budget rack. In January, I picked up Need For Speed Carbon and The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night for around $8 each on clearance at one FM.

I visited a Play N Trade not too long ago and they had a decent selection of new GBA games. If you have a location in your area, it might be worth checking out.

In the UK you can buy second hand GBA games from GameStation; however a cheaper option is e-bay.

eBay is too full of bootlegs.

I did actually see FF6 in Zellers - finally! - for $28, but Mr. Kurtori already traded me a copy a while ago. That one was proving to be thoroughly elusive.

Spyro: Eternal Night is supposed to be pretty good, no?
