Default Resident Evil Zero - Wii Edition

More Resident Evil is always a good thing. It's too early to tell exactly how this version will seperate itself from the Gamecube version. If you can use the Wavebird (like RE4 Wii Edition), this may end up just being a 480p upgrade. Time will tell.

They might as well just redo all the resident evils. I thought RE 0 was an incredible looking game on the cube, I just didn't like the gameplay.

I bet the seed of the idea for this from this came from the dev process for RE:UC ... where they obviously re-rendered a lot of the Resident Evil environments using the Wii dev kits.

I'd be interested in this one if they re-styled the entire game in the mold of RE:4 in terms of camera, 3D environments, and control.

And that's not to say I didn't PREVIOUSLY enjoy the fixed camera, tank-movement style of RE:0 ... I did. I finished it on Gamecube.

I'm just saying - the only way they'd get my $29.99 or $19.99 again on that title is if I could play through the whole thing again with the RE:4 engine.

That would be a dream come true....potential GOTY material. Unfortunately, I think it's too ambitious.

Sure, it could be a dream, but hey, if there's one company that could do it - it would be Capcom.

In the 2nd year of Gamecube I never thought the RE:1 remake would be everything that it was ... and it was all that and more.

For all we know, they may have even built (or re-built) the RE:4 engine (in later iterations) to allow for this kind of hard & fast re-tooling.

I've been wanting to play RE0 for quite some time, but I don't want to pay the outrageous price EB/GS still wants for a used copy. So if this means I can get on Wii for only $20, I'm cool with that.

It seems that the Wii edition might be "japan only".

No worries though I luv and still play both REmake and RE0 on my trusty cube to this day.
