I sold a few DVD sets this weekend. One of the auctions was for a DVD set which had loose disks inside. I listed them for $3 each, thinking they wouldn't sell for more than that... and the auctions ended at $15 a pop for some reason.
Anyway.
I contacted each person that won the item to see if they wanted me to open up the item before shipping them out so the discs wouldn't get damaged further while they were in the mail, right? Well, one of the winners contacted me and asked me this:
"What's a new loose and yes pls reseat my DVD!!"
...

I replied with this:
Ah... well, as I mentioned in the auction page, the package is new, but a
disc inside is loose. That is why the item was being sold for such a low
price to begin with. This was clearly mentioned in the auction page, right
on top of the picture. There's a LARGE chance the disc will be
scratched.
Since you didn't read that in the auction listing, if you
wish to cancel the sale, please let me know.
Is there anything else I can do in this case? Any suggestions?
