Nintendo 64 Millennium 2000 Controller

I acquired one of these at NAVA and can't find any real information on it. The Nintendo 64 Wiki briefly mentions that it was part of a Nintendo Power promotion. The seller confirms this. As to its value or how many of them were actually made, I have no clue. I can't find one on eBay either.

Any Nintendophiles here that can shed a little light?

There's less than 1,000 of them. Handed out via random Nintendo Power drawings from sending in your monthly insert card. Advertised as one of the prizes in these Nintendo Powers. I overpaid for mine at about $200, but I think the real value is around $100-150.

I want to say Auguest 1999 is the issue in question but I am not 100% sure. Check all the 1999 NPs and you should find it in one of them.
