    Default Strange Wavebird behavior...

I picked up a second Wavebird sometime ago but I noticed it won't work when connected to player 1 port. It does not matter what channel I use or which reciever I use, the new one just won't work in player 1 port. It works fine in player 2-4 and the old Wavebird I have works fine in player 1 port.

I tried it on a different Gamecube with the same result so I'm sure it's not a GC problem. What could the problem be?
