    Default SNES/MD/JAG protos

Got given free a box of 7 SNES, 1 MD, 1 JAG proto & 8 bare boards and a box of eprom chips plus a complete snasm2 snes/md dev kit... there's only 4 unique games between the lot but every cart is different in some way, all different builds.

so this year i've gone from 1 to 0 to... a box full of protos :o)[/img]

Neato! I'd love to get my hands on that Syndicate proto. Ever consider doing a proto for proto swap?

If you don't mind my asking, what are the SNES protos? Anything that was never officially released?

Nah, Snes protos are various versions of Syndicate & Theme Park, PAL & NTSC versions. They are mostly on Nintendo eprom boards, but theres one 'final' version of each on Ocean 'super 4 issue 1' boards that fit into regular cart cases, just 2 eproms & two other smaller chips on therse... the others all have batteries & components all over the place. The snasm2 dev kit seems to have a snes cart emulator as part of it... anyone know anything about it? md proto is theme park... it doesn't seem to want to let me select anything from the menu though (but I've only tried it on my scorpion XVI which might be playing up).

There's 19 eproms, 4 of which I think are another md game, but don't seem to want to play when I stick them in the spare md cart... I matched up the labels with the marking on the board, but... :( As for the others, not a clue what they are... 4 have just red stickers on them, so they might all go together, too... but they might not... as they go in pairs & 4s I'm stuck... I don't fancy trying things at random... if I had some kind of eprom reader I could maybe pair some up if there's an easy way for a lamer like me to check things.

The box the protos came in said "strike command" & "eproms" on it but was crossed out in marker pen. The other box with the loose eproms has no markings, but all the eproms seem to have had stickers on before, so might contain old builds of the same game or maybe even of other games. I've taken some shots... it's only of the stuff I could carry home (already had heavy bags & there was other stuff to carry he gave me). I left behind the Snasm snes console interface box, I just picked one at random, the md one.
