Hah! There is an entrance to a dungeon that had 6 pots just inside the dungeon zone in. They always had the same items totaing 34 or so rupies. I think I went in and out of that area 1000 times.. FUN FUN! go Nintendo
See there is just one more part of poor game planning. You don't make enough rupies threw playing through the game to even be able to afford half the maps so you are forced to all sorts of unfun crap.

And I had no problem with cash flow for Tingle. Getting through the entire Labrynth of Death yeilded enough rupees for about 4 Triforce Charts.

I've yet to beat the game as I haven't had time to sit at MY copy of the game (my bro-in-law has me getting past areas he can't figure out and he's ahead of me) so I can't really give TOO much say on its longevity. However I too am trying to figure out what good it would be to make WW "longer" (based on what I know of it of course)? Just to give added value? Then you gotta ask "how much more is TOO much more"?
Labrynth of Death lmao... 50 levels deep and possibly the funnest part of the entire game, although I must say that the Wizzrobes and those little demonic versions of Stitch (from Lilo & Stitch) are the most annoying enemies in gaming history.
