    Angry Shipping sellers error/what should i do?

    Well kind of weird situation.
    I've bought some stuff off ebay. And i paid 40$ for express mail shipping.
    I've waited..waited.... waited... Week has passed. I've asked the guy about the tracking number. He said like "ok i'll check it when i have time". Another several days passed. I email him he said "Ok the package was sent by priotiy mail blah..blah..."
    wait a minute...WTF? PRIORITY?? I've paid for Express! Priority takes month here to arrive.
    I've email him like "Dude why the hell you've sent it priority by any means?? I've paid you for express?". He replied strangely like "Don't worry it will arrive soon. I guess it's held by customs". He said nothing about his mistake..Another week has passed and i finally got a tracking number. Indeed it was sent by priority. Not express.
    Now almost month have passed. I'm still waiting for it to arrive. The seller still replies like "hey don't worry it's held by customs. blah blah..."
    WTF should i do? I've asked him couple of times about why he sent it priority not express and he replied nothing. I've wasted a lot of time and possible money because priority costed way less i guess.

    If the tracking info indicates that it was sent Priority instead of Express, which you paid for, I'd politely demand a partial refund on the shipping cost.

    Hell, file a chargeback against him. What a dick. :\

    Priority sucks balls, it's just a scam. It's not faster than First Class mail and it costs tons more!

    If you paid by Paypal you can get a refund by filing a complaint. Also you might want to take the invoice showing you paid Express and he sent Priority, you might be able to claim mail fraud.

    Well finally the dude refunded me the shipping difference. Also he told me he could refund me all items cost if i won't get the package after 90 days. But it's here already so it's not required. I wonder what kind of feedback i will get.. lol. I hope he won't be a dick and won't leave me neg after i leave him positive.

    Ah, yeah. Misread your post.

    But yeah, I would certainly expect a retaliatory negative even if you leave a positive. It would probably be best just to write this one off and move on.

    Yeah, you should never leave feedback first unless you're 100% positive that the other person is happy with the transaction. I know that's kind of a shitty practice, but it's unfortunately necessary (at least in my experience). Personally I would have filed a complaint long ago, requesting not only the $4 but some extra to compensate for the time difference in delivery. And as much as it would hurt, I wouldn't have left feedback at all. You're pretty much guaranteed to get a retaliatory negative in this case, so just swallow your pride and let him keep his rating. Just take his money.

    Seriously though, just take a road trip. My friend did that once after not receiving the item, scared the guy shitless. He gave him everything that he bought and like 50$.
