    Default Gameboy Printer

Does anyone know a good way to clean the head on a gameboy printer?

The Gameboy printer is a thermal printer, it uses thermal paper. You can't clean the print heads like a standard inkjet printer. It's the paper that's getting too old. You can use newer standard thermal paper as long as it's the same width as the official paper.

You can also connect a Gameboy system to a computer and print with a standard computer printer instead, but you'll need a special cable and software to do that.

I got new thermal paper (the keyword is "taxi" for the correct size) and the print quality didn't improve. I would assume the print heads are just not functioning as well as they should. Unfortunately opening it up shows the whole head/feed is one assembly that doesn't appear to come apart easily.
