Default Quirky, funny games for PS2?

I'm playing Earthbound for the first time, and was wondering if there are any PS2 games (RPG or other) that are kind of quirky and funny like that.

Although it seems obvious, Katamari Damacy fits the bill. Also check out Giants: Citizen Kabuto or MDK2, while both are ports, they've got some great quirky bits.

The Bard's Tale for PS2 doesn't take itself too seriously. I found the quarrel between the narrator and the Bard to be humorous as well as the different ways he reacted to certain situations (running away and mouthing off to people). It's not too bad of a game and can be bought for pretty cheap.

    A Dog's Life-PS2

Man, this game is hilarious. You live the life of a dog, and do things only a mutt would do. I personally think this game is cool. Check it out, you might like it!

No mention of Chulip yet? That's about as quirky and funny as they come on PS2.

Great suggestions! I can't think of any games on ps2 as quirky as Giants and MDK2, good call. MDK2, man, I had forgotten it a bit, lol.

If you want weird, i'd say stretch panic (a strange little Treasure game). If you want a pretty funny RPG, i'd say Disgaea. It doesn't hurt that the game kicks ass too.

Parappa 2 was crap, don't even waste your time.

Metropolismania is crap as well... due to its menus and controls

Chulip is a VERY VERY WEIRD GAME. I mean WAAAAY out there. Katchoo really likes it, but it really isn't the kind of game thats for most since there really isn't any guiding for what to do in the game. If you get it, remember, save often... and be prepared to re-do days. You will fail.

    Good weird games....

    Mr. Mosquito
    Guitaroo Man
    Magic Pengel
    Graffitti Kingdom
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.

+1 for The Bard's Tale, I just finished this game last week and found it quite humorous, also has huge replay value as I didn't even have all the powers/items to beat the game but still did. Also has 3 unique endings. Also have to play again just to unlock the songs....
