Default SMB All Stars + Super Mario World???

my friend gave me a SNES cartridge today. it's 4 AM and i'm just getting home so i haven't been able to play it yet, but based on the label, it contains both super mario all-stars AND super mario world. i've never heard of this before. is it worth anything? either way, i plan to keep it because i've been wanting a copy of SMB All Stars for years and have never got around to buying it, i'm just curious. thanks

I have one too. I kept it because it knocks out 2 carts for 1. Nothing really special though as far as rarity other than it's less common than SMW or All-Stars. I believe it was a pack-in. Perhaps with the Model 2 SNES.

it may not be that rare but if you were to sell it you could get anywhere from $20-$30 on ebay for it.

It was a pack-in. I've seen a copy priced at $10 once, but it usually tends to go for $20-$30 around here.

Also, interestingly, there was a change to Luigi's appearance in the cart's version of Super Mario World, and you can learn more about that here.

Awesome. I never realized they did a Luigi sprite hack. Probably because I've only played it single. Still neat though.

Ha, that's really cool. It does indeed look much more like Luigi. It's nice when companies go out of there way to improve the minor things like that.

These are pretty good sellers on ebay, $20-30 is right on the money value wise.
