    Default Sealed Ultima PC games

I have 3 sealed Ultima games:
    Ultima Underwold I & II
Ultima VII *complete* (all expansions included on disk)
    Ultima VIII: Pagan

Each are EA Presents CD-ROM Classics Gold Edition. 95/DOS

Individually priced please. I can't find any sealed copies online that can hint at an estimate and with other Ultima Collections out there I'd expect these not to be too hard to come by, thus not a high value. Contemplating selling or continuing to hold onto them until time is available to play.

Got ahold of a camera today, here's some shots to give a better idea of the game release version:

    Backs:

There is a small hole in the wrap at the top of the first box (I & II), and the bottom corner of Ultima VIII

I'll give you five bucks for 'em!

Seriously though... these reissues, while convenient, aren't really worth much because they're reissues. I couldn't sel Pagan for five bucks ages ago.

BUT, considering they're new? They might be worth $50 each at least.

$50 sounds quite steep. Not that I'm doubting that price, I don't have a good background in the PC gaming prices since I buy to play. My estimate was around 15,20,35 for a $70 total. I'd be interested in hearing a second opinion as there's a potential buyer and want to make sure the deal is fair for the both of us.

I'd say 25-30 each tops. They were dirt cheap when they were new at retail. If you want, ask for 40 each but that's pushing it a good bit as they are re-issues already and if I'm not mistaken, can be had on the much better reissue that contained the entire series.

Thanks for the heads up. When I bought them I knew there were other collection releases and what not so I didn't expect them to be worth a whole lot. I expected at absolute most they'd be around $90 because they're CD-ROM releases and new, but mainly leaned towards $5-10 so I wouldn't feel bad opening them and playing. Looks like we might have a good estimate of value, others can still chime in though if you'd like.

Fuyukaze: Think, these games are sealed. Even if the contents amount to a CD and a piece of paper (which ARE the contents, if I recall correctly), there's still some hardcore Ultima collectors who will pay insane amounts of money for these games. I rarely see these games in such good condition, to boot.

Sealed PC game collectors are just as nutty as sealed console game collectors.

Ultima collectors are crazy. Years ago, I guy I knew in the US sold a complete California Pacific Ultima 1 for a lot of money. I don't think he knew what he had either, he would have taken anything for it until some ppl started offering him $100's thru PM's. Infocom, Sierra, and some other companies' games for a ton of money on Ebay too.

Generally, the earlier the rarer/more expensive and vice versa. The later ones after Ultima 3 or so are worth $30 and go down from there. The ones cyberfluxor has are prolly worth $10-20 maybe since they're sealed.
