    Default Video Game Organizer Software

I hope this won't come across as spamming, but I have written a video game organizer software for windows. It will work with all video games and might be of interest to people on these boards. Anyway, I would love to hear from anyone if they have any feedback or suggestions of things that they would like to see in this software. If you are interested you can read more or download it from my website.

Software looks cool. But alot of people will consider it spam since this is your first day on the site and your first post.

I've got a challenge for you Doug. Why should we reinput our whole game collections into your software instead of sticking with what we have? I myself am a mediaman user.

I consider it poor form, even somewhat rude, to join a community and immediately try to promote your product without letting us get to know you better first. No matter how useful your software is, this is a turnoff.

Giant, my goal was to create an easy and fun program for keeping track of my video games without requiring a lot of manual inputting. I wanted to include people like you in what goes into my updates so it could be an even better program geared to the gaming community. If you already have a lot of time invested in another program, I won't be hurt if you choose not to use mine

I use Game Collector by Collectorz.com for my games. They also make a package for book collectors:

Futarama? That the latest 4chan sensation?

The thing is, not having to enter info shouldn't be a feature, its expected. Media man takes advantage of the amazon and library of congress databases, so most stuff is there, including books and games. I was just wondering what really makes your software stand out. Does it have cover art for everything below r8? That would be a pretty amazing feature.

My software allows you to enter games by entering a keyword, entering the barcode, scanning the barcode with you webcam or entering it all manually. It uses the amazon database for info and cover art as well.

    Giant,
Does it have cover art for everything below r8?
What do you mean by this?

Are you really posting here without even looking through the rarity guide?

I wish I could use delicious, I find out about a month ago that media man is a complete rip off of delicious library's design.
