    Pretty lame day yesterday:

    Viewtiful Joe (gc) New $1

Some Cult Classics 20 movie dvd set for $5.50, I only watched half of one movie before I slept last night but that one movie was a 1930's movie about siamese twins where one of them is convicted of murder. So after only that much of the set viewed I know it is going to be great (and it also has the terror of tiny town which I've wanted to see for a while).

I was at the gianormous flea market in Canton, TX today

I know Caton's a large, famous flea market but there were next to no games!!!!! I was lucky to find what I did. Everything else was overpriced antique stuff. The last time I was in Canton I found a boxed NES system for $25. I guess I just wasn't looking hard enough today.
    /end rant

Anyway, I managed to find a cool Mario Bros. warp pipe phone for $3, and a Mrs. Pac-Man wind-up toy for $1. I think the "Mister Music Maker" keyboard I found is video game-ish, it is a toy analogue keyboard and it sounds like an Atari with all of it's bleeps and bloops, it was $1.

I also got a copy of King's Quest V and a dos game called "stalker" for $0.25 each, as well as a dusty old NES zapper for $1. I was kinda mad because I missed some NES games, this guy has a huge booth with lots of signs that said "everything's a dollar", the stuff was just junk stuff, not that cheap chinese crap you see for $1 each. That's where I got the zapper. The guy there told me he had 3 big boxes of Nintendo controllers and games for $1 each and he sold them all rather quickly. At an antique market. Antique buyers must love NES games.
Check my auctions here! I am in the business of finding off-beat things, including video game stuff!

Well, kinda an unplanned find late saturday. I was going to a friend's house to watch the boxing match and my supper wasn't agreeing with me so I stopped at the local K-mart to take a shit and decided afterwards to have them price check Warioware: Touched since another K-mart a couple towns over had marked theirs down and I made some decent money off them at that time but when I checked the local one they hadn't marked them down yet. This time it came up for 9.97 so I was pretty happy with Warioware for that price.

Nice pickup on the phone, they can sell for pretty decent money on eBay from time to time. There are three colors: green, red and blue. I lucked out during a week last year when they were selling on eBay in the $60.00 range boxed and picked up a boxed complete blue one for something like $15.00 shipped.

Whoa Lordy!! Here are my retail finds for the past few days, plus yesterday mornings Flea Market "treasure".

Mario Kart Wii $49.97 from Wal-Mart
Mario Kart Wii Official Premiere Edition Strategy Guide $18.88 from Wal-Mart
Grand Theft Auto IV Collector's Edition $89.97 from Wal-Mart

(Damn u Wal-Mart... you got lotsa $$$ from me this past week... boo!! )

    From a Flea Market:
    Excitebike 64 (loose) $10

BONUS from the Flea Market vendor if you spent $10 or more (which I did).

DVD containing a WHOPPING 420+ Official video game strategy Guides. Yep, you heard correct: 420 Prima Guides... dating back to the Nintendo 64 days. I dont know how the guy got them, but I aint complaining. All completely scanned.

I'm like you all on here... I like hard copies of my guides... but for 420 PDF's containing basically the same info as the hard copies one... I am smiling big-time.

Ony bad thing is... they are all Prima Guides... where are the Brady and Nintendo Player's Guides???
