Picked up Stuntman Ignition (PS3) for 9.99. I went to Wal-Mart and showed them Circuit City's ad for today and they gave me a price-match.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaugh. I just spent the past two days trying to fix my Windows XP installation, which went wacky after some problems I had with a previous install. Long story short, I'm finally back on my feet, and so I have pictures.
The CD folder is kinda neat, I already had a similar one but you can never have too few of these. That was $2. The Tex Murphy: Overseer CD is brand new, and cost me a buck. I already have the game, but I never really played it, so...
And then there's this:
It's apparently CIB. In case you can't make it out, it's a Japanese Konami DDR Pad for the Dreamcast. I don't know where my stack of DC CDRs is, but I'll try it out when I have the chance. (This is up for sale or trade, by the way.)
Went to the flea market which is on mondays and since today was memorial day, it was packed with vendors and loads of people. I get started and go up and down several rows of people and the best thing I see are a few dirty common genesis games. One of my friends went with me and was picking up stuff left and right. He's the kind into knives and ninja stuff. But, while he had his arms full and we were 3/4 done looking, I was starting to wonder if I was going to find anything.
So just around the corner there was a vendor selling gamecube, ps2, and x-box games for 8.50 each. Not a steal, but not murder to my wallet, either. I sifted through the games and she didn't have much except two games that stood out. Viewtiful Joe 2 for the GC and 9 More Holes of X-Mas for the xbox. I picked those up and moved on.
Went to the next vendor and found a basket full of atari 2600 and 7800 games along with three gameboy games. Picked up the three GB games for $1 a piece.
The same vendor that had the GB games also had a toploading nes. I asked how much and she said $15. A steal right there! But I wanted to test my haggling skills. I asked her if she would take any less. She hesitated. She said no, she had to have 15. So I started to walk away...slowly...in case she change her mind, but no go. I couldn't keep the nes out of my head and I didn't really want to spend more than 10 on anything else since I had to get gas later. I went back to the woman and ask her to take $10. She hesitated. I told her I would throw in a hug. She hesitated. And finally gave in. I reach for my wallet and give her two fives. I said come here and gave the nice old lady a hug. (I hope I don't have to use this tactic too often, because I know some old people smell...) But here she is. My $10 toploader. It came with everything and works fine, just the system is pictured.
Tea is for terrorists-Leo Laporte
Klingons Invented Saran Wrap
Paper Mario - $8
Space Ghost season 1 - $4
Espion Agents (JP, sealed), Some Japanese racing game (sealed), Nights sampler disc, Q3 Arena, Conflict Zone, Blue Stinger, Magforce, TimeStalkers, Omikron (sealed), Railroad Tycoon 2, Tomb Raider Chronicles, Illbleed - $20
Arc The Lad End of Darkness - $5
Samurai Showdown 5, 2 Lodgenet Gamecube Controllers - $5
A pretty good Sunday at the swap meet.
Everything in the pic for $7 from a garage sale. Hands down my BEST find ever. Always wanted one of these....so happy...
Unfortunately I don't have a 4-player multi-tap, so I have no idea if slowdown is in the game or not.
Anyway, another minimalist Sunday for me at a regional flea market, but I got some goodies:
Super Baseball Simulator 1.000 (SNES, $2)
On The Ball (I never knew this was ported to the SNES, $2)
Genghis Khan (NES w/ sleeve, $2)
Whomp Em (NES complete inc. promotional poster, $2)
Breath of Fire III (PS1 complete, $5)
I like how Jaleco's U.S. branch put a minimalist effort into Westernizing Whomp Em. Only change the main character sprite from the Journey to the West Monkey King, to a Native American, while leaving everything else exactly the same... And while the game content isn't offensive, I'm sure the games title is inappropriate. Nonetheless, it's a wonderful Mega Man-esque platformer.
My finds for the weekend,
Time Splitters Future perfect (no manual)
NFL Street (CIB)
Def Jam Fight for NY (CIB)
True Crime New York (no manual)
ATV quad power racing 2 (loose)
4 Mb InterAct memory card
The games are pretty scratched, but they work, I mainly just wanted the GB Player, $20.
All CIB and in excellent shape, $20.
"Power Games" plug n play, with 111 in 1 cartridge. It actually does have 111 different games too. The cart shows games like Donkey Kong 64, but they're all NES era games. $3.
but...what does a penguin have to do with it all? *headscratch*
Got a few things at the thrift store this morning. $2.50 each
Sonic (Genesis, CIB)
Deadly moves (Genesis, loose)
MediEvil (PS1, CIB)
Sorry, camera is broken, but from a trade:
Robotrek (snes)
Breath of Fire (snes)
You know, I was originally going to stick this thing in a box and put it in the closet, but I think I'll set it up in the family room, evil penguins always make for good conversation.
If anyone ever gets one of these, the nose is the power button, took me way too long to figure that one out.
Today's finds were decent. Got 2 DC games CIB (hydro thunder, soul calibur) and mario party 8 (missing cover) for 30 flat as well as a master system for 20 flat that's only missing the box and papers. The styraphone (too lazy to check for correct spelling) is somewhat chewed but there. Just need to clean it up a bit. It works though which is very nice. Also got the hard back strat guide for twilight princess for 11 as well.
