Jeff, I have a spare SOTN manual if you want to trade for it. It's the original version, not GH.

Only went to about a dozen sales this weekend. First sale I went to had "Sega Game With Games" advertised. I probably got to the sale about 5 minutes after it started and when I asked about games they mentioned the Sega being sold which somebody must have bought well before the sale started as it was long gone.

    NES (Lid Broken Off)
    AC Adaptor
    1st Party Controller
    Ice Hockey
    Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt
Super Mario Bros. 2 (hair stuck to it yummy!)
    Tetris

    $2

I asked about video games at a sale and they had this NES stuff, it wasen't actually put out for sale but it was under a bench which had abunch of books they were selling. The girl said she didn't think it worked hence the reason why it wasen't put out with a price but they wanted to get rid of it when I asked. I offered $2 for it. I'm just glad that this NES is missing the RF Adaptor (instead of power) as it seems as if most NES systems I find at yardsales are missing the power adaptor or even have some makeshift power adaptor that acts up if it does work with an NES.

I forgot to take a picture of it but I also got a Sonic The Hedgehog plush at one sale marked $1 offered .25 which was taken.

I also left my name and number with a guy that said he had a NES. One thing that kind of scared me is that he asked me how much I'd be willing to pay for it without telling me anything about it. I said I don't know and it would depend on how many games it had with it which he said it had about 25 games.

Picked up a few things at the flea market today:

As my brother put it, I got an AFG: Another fucking Genesis. I now have a High Def Graphics oldtimer model 1, a model 2 heavyweight with a 32x and CD, a model 3 featherweight, and a Nomad...
Spent $10 on this misc. box (replaced a few loose carts with complete ones... (Road Rash 2, SOR2, Street Fighters, etc.)

    Then I picked up:
Complete copies of Eric the Unready and Loom for $3 total (Are these worth anything? They are as mint and complete as I've ever seen anything. Even if they're not worth much, they are nice additions to my collection)
    Starship Titanic for $1
Bioshock and Gears of War game guides for $5 total
    10 CR2032s for $5
and a USB numeric keypad for $8 when I'm doing Econometrics HW on my laptop.

Overall, not a bad day. Passed on a few beat up Colecovisions and overpriced Commodore 64 stuff.

    A few pickups today:

The Gamecube & PS2 game were from a member on this forum. The four Genesis & one NES game (all complete) were found at two of the resale shops around town. I paid almost $30 for the five of them, which is definitely too high, but I never find anything good around here so I have to jump on it when I get the chance. I also picked up 50 issues of PSM for $12.50. Quite possibly the best day I've ever had locally.

Saw an ad for Albert Odyssey (complete) selling for $20 along with a few other games. When I got there, they were sold out.

On my way back, I stopped by Kmart going on a gut feeling (NOT GAS!). I immediately went to the electronics section and my gut was right.

Tales of the Abyss PS2 (new) $4.99
Tales of Phantasia GBA (new) $4.99
Final Fantasy V Advanced (new) $4.99

Feeling like I was on a streak, I stopped by usual hunting grounds and found a Genesis collection just came in and bought these from him for 2.99 each.

    Ghostbusters Genesis (cart only)
    Vectorman 2 Genesis (cart only)
    Ranger X Genesis (complete)
    Spiderman Genesis (complete)
Tiny Toons Adventure Buster's Hidden Treasure (complete)

All in all, what started out poor, ended up quite decent. Be sure check all local Kmarts for games they have on sale.

Not all that much today, barely anything gaming related, however, some good deals otherwise.

    Ihome 2go player - $15

The place where I got this from smelled of weed. XD
Still a great deal though, these retail for 60-70 bucks.

    Xbox 360 HD-DVD player - $12 + tax

    On clearance from Kmart

    Clayfighter Sculptors Cut - $6

More than what I would pay otherwise, however, this is a tough game to find for the N64, so I sucked it up and paid the price.

In case you haven't found out already those batteries suck. I bought some a while back, same packaging as what you've got. Popped them in some VMUs and they lasted about a day of non-use before they were dead. My dad put one is his watch, it lasted about 5 minutes.

found an nes and 11 games for $5, only decent title was Mike Tyson's Punch Out. Glad to find the system though since my wife has been looking for one to send to one of her friends stationed in korea since he asked my wife to find one with tecmo super bowl for him since he knew I was big into games. I had an extra tecmo super bowl but I hadn't found a cheap extra nes for months and was about ready to buy a cheap clone to send his way.

A sealed Loom once sold for over 600$ on ebay. I sold a complete one like yours for around 80$ last year.

Old Legend Entertainment games are also worth quite a bit. I've sold copies of 'em for $20 at least... I've never sold a copy of Eric The Unready, though.

Cool, good to hear that about the adventure games; Eric the Unready is one of my all time favorite PC games, so that is staying put. I may be tempted to sell Loom to a more appreciative collector though.

As far as the CR2032s go, I guess I should have figured. I bought some from the same woman last year, and they were short lived...I figured I would try these as they were a different brand.

Couple rental store purchases (both complete and in surprising great condition since they are previous rentals):

    Manhunt 2 PS2 - 9.99
    Blood will tell PS2 - 9.99

and on a side note I checked the tecmo bowl that came with my nes purchase from the morning and it was the version with Eric Dickerson and not Albert Bentley so that makes me happy since I only had the version with Bentley and wanted the Dickerson version.

^ Nice find. These 2 SSI strategy titles are a LOT of fun (if you have a C64 to play them on). Spent many hours with these way back when!
