I love that phone, I managed to find the Blue one last year at a yard sale. I use it as the phone in my game room. I like the green one better though.

Anyways I went to the Flea Market early this morning, it was raining so not many sellers out there today. I did manage to find Skullmonkeys (PS1) complete, $3.

Drove around the area after my exam yesterday morning, actually a good day.

Picked up 2 joysticks for playing Battlefield on two seperate machines. Kept getting complaints by the brother and father about bad airplane handling with mouse+keyboard so the Logitech Attack 3 is going downstairs and some older Thrustmasters joystick is up here. The two came out to $6 total and work just fine so problem solved.

Between several thrifts I picked up some records. Lots of stuff I've never heard of so it's either hit or miss at this point.

On to games, which aren't too many.
    NES:
Wrath of the Black Manta (L - $3)
    - Trying to find more Taito NES games

    PC:
    Cannon Fodder (N/sealed - $2) CD-ROM
    - For DOS, tempting to opening it and playing on my DOS laptop

And while wondering in an electronic section I discovered a NEC Turbo Duo model HES-DUO-01. Damage: $3 for the unit, $1 for the AV cable. I dug around that beast for an hour turning that department upside-down to discover a power cord, none to be found! I believe it was either packaged with other cables that someone picked up, the donator lost the cord, or it's still hanging around in the back waiting to be paired and set on the cord rack. Who knows, but I'll just get a cord online (anyone have a spare?) and need a game to test and play.

So, the AV cable came with some other cables:
    2x 3.5mm to RCA cable
    CAT-5 cable
and some old male-male cable for extending RF or something.

Forgot to add Fight Club was also in the bunch of stuff, new for $3.

I always wished I could buy a cool phone like those, but our house switched to digital.

I finally found Zack & Wiki for a price I was willing to pay ($20 at my local Walmart). Even though it's not, I counted it as "grocery" expenses for the month.

That's always my problem they'll have one game at $20 or $25 that I really want and would buy if I could find two others at close to equal cost that I want but the only other things I want are $5 or $10 titles and at that point I'm better off waiting til I can find it cheaper

I had a yard sale adventure over the weekend! This one may or may not trump Kuro’s find earlier in the week.

At the first house, I snagged my find from a woman and her son who had gotten the lady down to $25 from $30 on a Gamecube, but she didn’t buy it since it didn’t have a controller. I knew I needed one with the digital AV out port to run my Freeloader and Action Replay, but I talked her down some because the indigos and blacks have them.

    Lot #1 - $30
Indigo Gamecube system (loose with AV cord and power cord)
Nintendogs: Lab & Friends (DS, complete)
    Pokemon Diamond Version (DS, complete)

I left a complete copy of FIFA 2006 for DS and the Pokemon strategy guides that the woman thought were more valuable than the DS game itself. That’s debatable.

When I got to the second house where I found games, I remembered I had been to the house before. I had gone there for a yard sale two years ago. The guy that lived there used to work at Funcoland back in the day, and every few years he unloads some more of his collection. However, he was going to Florida this summer and he told me that his wife said he had to get rid of some games to pay for said trip.

    Lot #2 - $55
    Complete Saturn games -
    Saturn Bomberman
    Legend of Oasis
    Nights
    Resident Evil
    Croc
    Hexen
    Spot Goes To Hollywood
    Tetris Plus
    VR Virtua Racing
    NFL '97
    Tomb Raider
    Hardcore 4X4
    Sega Rally
    Worldwide Soccer
Virtua Cop (in not for resale sleeve)

Loose Saturn games in Funcoland sleeves -
    Sonic 3D Blast
    Soviet Strike
    Cyber Speedway
    World Series Baseball
    Street Fighter: The Movie
    F1 Challenge
    Madden ‘97
    NHL ‘97
    Pebble Beach Golf Links
    Scud the Disposable Assassin
    Virtua Fighter 2

    Other stuff -
Double Dragon (Master System, game with case)
Time Soldiers (Master System, complete) - an R4!
Sesame Street: Elmo's Letter Adventure (PS1, complete)
Sesame Street: Elmo's Number Adventure (PS1, complete)
    Magic of Scherezade (NES, loose)

When I saw Saturn Bomberman, a little bit of pee came out.

I actually went there twice, picking up all the complete Saturn games first for $25 and then going back to scoop up most everything else for $30. I left a complete copy of Tony Hawk 4 for Gamecube.

The third find happened at a thrift store where someone had apparently turned in a buttload of old-school movie store rentals.

    Lot #3
Batman Returns (NES, boxed with inserts, no manual) - $1.48
Brett Hull Hockey ’95 (Genesis, complete) – 75 cents
Eliminator Boat Duel (NES, loose in storage case) - $1.48
    Jeopardy (PS1, complete) - $4.98
Jordan vs. Bird (Genesis, complete) – 75 cents
Judge Dredd (Genesis, complete) – 75 cents
Minnesota Fats: Pool Legend (Genesis, complete) – An R6 $1.48
    NFL ’95 (Genesis, complete) – 75 cents
Outrun (Genesis, complete) – 75 cents
Shaq Fu (Genesis, complete) – 75 cents
Super R.B.I. Baseball (Super NES, complete) – 99 cents
World Series Baseball ’96 (Genesis, complete) – 75 cents

Haven't posted here in a while so here's what I picked up this weekend. Went to a ton of yard sales but nothing good, gaming related anyway. After driving/walking all day I come home to relax for a bit. I find a post on craigslist and right back out the door I go. Within an hour of the guy e-mailing me back, I came home with...

    Atari 2600 w/ 53 games
    7 CIB PS1 games
    SMS w/ 23 CIB games
46 NES carts ( some doubles, 3 copies of Mario 3)
Sega Saturn w/ 5 CIB games and stunner
    Turbo Grafx w/ 4 games
    N64 w/ exp. pack and 14 games

    http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t...ble/stuff2.jpg

Sorry for the awful pictures. All systems have controllers and cords except for a bare NES console. It's not the greatest find ever, but sure does make up for the crappy yard sales.

Game Boy book like the above only for... Game Boy.

Paid $25 or so for it all

I'm trying to sell pretty much the same deal, also for $15, but the games are Columns, Xmen, G-Loc, and Sonic Chaos. Wish someone around here thought it was a 'find'.

Had a find of my own today off CL that I'm pleased with. $80 for a psx and the following games:
    C&C
    C&C red alert
    tekken 3
    battle arena toshinden (jewel)
    gran turismo (gh)
    creatures
    vandal hearts
ffvii (perfect condition, discs felt like they'd never been pulled)
    diablo (same)
    suikoden
    bushido blade
    RE2

these are all in top notch condition. I've actually never seen used games that look this good, especially not a whole set of them like this.

edit: It also came with a strange a/v cord: normal PS connector to yellow and white RCAs plus a headphone jack, all female. Now, there is an rf box that goes with that and has the right connectors. I suppose it has mono sound on white and stereo on the headphone?

I had some decent finds at TooManyGames (TMG), with the highlight being a giant lot of light guns for various systems and the free stuff I got from winning a couple small tournaments and other things. Unfortunately about half seem to be non-working so far, but I haven't put much time into them. If the pink justifier works, I will have made out just fine I was hoping to end up with more Atari games, but all sellers knew what stuff was worth (or used to be worth, as I thought loose cart prices at the show were too high.) I did get Frogger II for $10 and Stargunner for $8, which I was happy with, everything else I wish I could have gotten for less, except for a couple clearance carts I got for $.50. I spent a ton of money on a book, back issues of ReVival magazine and a Video Game Trader year subscription, $92 total, but I really enjoy print video game books and like to support these efforts.
