Man, when I first saw Niko drunk, trying to walk around and falling repeatedly, my Girlfriend and I were laughing so hard

I don't even see why anybody bothers with protesting against GTA anymore. Its been around since the 90s and has seen 9 different releases. Not only that, but they have made the stories and action more explicit every time they release a new one. All its going to do is make everybody roll there eyes. Well, I'm off to go drive drunk because GTA told me to, see ya later guys.
i lol'd at one of the comments on kotaku:
"these broads need to relax and have a drink"
and like someone else mentioned, they're protesting about drunk driving in a game where you can murder hundreds (potentially thousands) of people. if they want to complain about something, seems like their priorities are a little out of order.
Didn't Vice City (cant remember which one) have you drive drunk or high also? Why didnt they bring this up back then?
GTA 4 is so so so so bad. Although I can find many other "influences" just as bad in today's world. It's just a video game. Get over it.
It's really hard to drive drunk in GTA4 it gets real old real fast, I haven't made use of a taxi yet but I will in the future.
I didn't even know MADD was still around. Rather than spending their time on this they should just go to bar parking lots and offer free rides home or something, what a waste of their resources.
In the history of boycotting games, has it ever worked? That's not a rhetorical question, I really don't know.
Nate
How about MADD came to my old high school yesterday to give a presentation on the "Alcohol: Modern Day Dangers and Death". At the end of the presentation my sister (who attended this) was one of the students chosen to go on stage an try on those lovely beer goggles that impair your vision.
After she did the "line walk" she told the MADD representative that is as bad as my brother's Grand Theft Auto game. From what she told me, as did her friend, the woman went on a twenty minute rant about the dangers of videogames and how they force children to drink and drive. Also she recommended that she throw away my game and to plead with me to stop "condoning drunk driving". Got to love those nut jobs.
