Question Mega Man Mania (aka Mega Man Anniversary Collection for Game Boy Advance)

Anyone have any leads on a ROM or Prototype for this? I cannot believe it did not see the light of day, but I am hoping someone out there has this somewhere, and it has not been destroyed. It looks almost completed!

Yeah, I remember when this was coming out. I was looking forward to it, as I never played all of the game boy mega man titles, just the first two and parts of Mega Man 4. It's a shame and very strange at the same time that it never saw the light of day.

I was pretty pumped about this back when I heard of it...too bad it never made it to completion.

If you're talking about the emulator screenshots with the VBA border on them, I think I read those were actually official assets released by Capcom to promote the game, and that they forgot to take the borders off. Anyone else remember that or is my brain playing tricks on me?

Yeah, everything seems to point to that being the case. It's mentioned in the Press the Buttons article GrandAmChandler linked. The guy there has written several articles about Mega Man Mania, so I assume he'd have that correct.

Carnivol posted the uncropped images over on your forums a few years back. For anyone who hasn't seen them:

Seems strange that they did this since VBA has a built in screen capture mode. I mean, they apparently knew about Alt+PrintScrn, but they couldn't figure out something as simple as going through the File menu? (I have confirmed that the version of VBA available back in '03 did have the screen capture function, so that's not the problem.)

Sounds like you haven't had much experience with PR people!
