It was a short-lived cd-based multimedia system similar to the cd-i, that was distributed by Radio Shack in the early 90's. It's library was made up almost entirely of edutainment type titles.

[SHAMELESS_PLUG]If anybody buys this be sure to pick up the 5 sealed titles I listed in Buying/Selling a few days ago. I'll sell them really cheap! [/SHAMELESS_PLUG]

It's a 286 PC with a proprietary CD-ROM drive and a Sound Blaster sound card on a board sold as a console. How do I know? I took mine apart years ago to steal the CD-ROM drive out of it when drives were $200 each!

I have it as an avitar as a joke. The system is truly awful. If you like really bad intro CDs, the SAMPLER has some funny stuff on it, and among some demos that were never made into full games. Great to collect, horrible to play. I have a boxed system and about 3/4 of the games, missing a few

I did the VIS section for the DP guide, so I have a special loathing of the console. It's godawful. The few "games" for it are PC game ports, which are probably better on the PC. The sampler does have a fun little shmup on it, but that's about the extent of that.

I hear tales of some interesting prototype software out there, but I've not been able to get my hands on it.

And don't forget, it's the only device to ever use the Win 3.x-derived Windows for Embedded Systems!
