Can you flip the title on the label? It's upside-down. Genesis games don't have wrap over titles like SNES or NES games, they face the front.

I think you're a bit confused. Daze Before Christmas came out on the Mega Drive in Australia, it also came out on the SNES in Europe(specifically Germany).

It is too bad it wasn't released in North America, I haven't played it but it looks like a nice game.

    That's ok ))

I'm glad the label fits your needs.

And about Daze Before Christmas: sometimes I think USA believe they are the world, that causes a lot of misunderstanding for me, that lives outside.

Like Universal Game Case: it's only sold in USA for USA kind of cartridges, so it's not "universal".

A lot of sites states that Daze Before xmas was never released! Well, in US! I was looking in ebay today and saw an official snes copy of this game to sell!
This sucks so much. Unreleased means unreleased, never saw the light of the day! Not it saw the light of the day but somewhere else, goddamit!

Murdock, could i get the .psd, or some kind of source for the front of that Daze box? I'm having serious trouble finding anything to work with.

Maybe the unreleased US version is or would have been different from the released European/German version in some way. Lots of games are slightly different in different regions.

I'm assuming that the available SNES ROM is of the European/German version though.

Are you trying to create the daze before christmas box ?

I uploaded it, so you would not have any work to do, just print and fold.

I used the genesis covers, that was all I could find.

here is the link for my thread about the DBC box creation:

Hope this is what you are looking for.

I'm actually trying to do a label, SNES boxes aren't important to me.
I would just use the title screen, but that just doesn't do it for me, y'know?

    Got it,

Well the official cartridge label is the same as the image I used in the box. Santa coming out of the box.

I figure this is as good a place as any. I haven't made a SNES repro yet and ordered FF5(J) and plan to replace the eeproms with an english translation. Can anyone point me to a decent guide for this? I've done some NES/Famicom conversions and there are tons of guides for those, but haven't found much on SNES/SFC.

So FF5 is the same eeprom layout as Seiken Densetsu 3?

    yup.
all of them are the same, unless you're going to put a chip on a board with no SRAM, like nightmare busters or gundam wing endless duel.
the same holds true for multirom boards, ie turning street fighter 2 into the much better gundam wing endless duel, or putting new chips onto a Shin Megami Tensei cart.

in any of these type of situations, you can simply swap pins 24 and 31

Bartre did some excellent snes repro action for me once upon a time but I haven't heard from him in quite a while.

What titles are you looking for specifically?

    Hi there,

I can help you with recreating entire SNES box (including die cut template). Here's the logo for DBC I've recreated for you. Lemme know if I can be of any help.

I would need a 300dpi scan of actual game box. I was able to find a scan online, but is only 72dpi which is NOT satisfactory. Help, anyone?
I'm into preserving box art. Link will take you DBC and some of the logos I've done.
