    Default Turbografx Adapter Trouble

I just tried reconnecting my turbografx after a prolonged period without use. It won't work. It doesn't do anything- it fits in the slot like it always does, but there's no indication that the system is receiving any power. This is an official adapter. I have no idea why it's just decided to not do anything when it worked perfectly before. Does anyone have any idea why my system won't turn on?

If you have a multimeter you can set it up to check a/c current and then plug your adapter to the wall outlet and check for voltage at the tip.

After that I'm not sure. I don't know if the TG16 has a fuse on the pcb somewhere or not. I haven't had to open mine up.

I can suggest that if you need to resort to outside help, message turbokon and see if he can help you.

If you have an original Genesis, try that power supply with it and see if it works.

That's true, if you don't have a multimeter just use a Genesis adapter. Good thinking.
