    Default NES/SNES-USB Device?

I posted in another thread that I can't seem to get my older NES and SNES controller devices to work anymore on my new PC. Basicaly, they plugged into the Paraell (printer) port to allow you to use a real controller on the PC.

Accepting the posbilitiy these old devices may no longer work, do they make convertors that plug into a USB port instead? Can anyone here make one? Are there good sites that sell them? How much do they run? I'd love to get some to let me use my controllers again but money is tight right now.

Any info would be great, thanks.

Retro Zone has fairly highly rated usb adaptors for NES & SNES, though they're a bit on the pricey side. Black Chopper used to make a very nice product but I believe that they have gone out of business.
