    Ok well I read it correctly, it just doesn't make any sense to me... I don't know (along with quite a few others in the thread you linked) how plugging a PS2 A/V cable into a SNES A/V output would ruin a cartridge- (sounds like it would ruin the connector on the deck 1st)... and I didn't know that it would be possible to get any sort of picture doing this... but hey if you say it happened, then, I guess... well it happened.

    We've received reports of widespread SNES system malfunctions in the North America and Western Euopean regions today as readers of a popular website "digitpress.com" tried to plug PS2 AV outputs into their SNES systems. Reasons for this odd behaviour seem to include "I was curious" and "...just wanted to see what would happen" after reading a particular forum thread.

    We'll keep you up-to-date as more information comes in.
