Default Replacing import Carts with translations?

    Hey,

First off I'd like too note that I have know knowledge of making/reproducing carts and such, but I was wondering if it's possible too replace what's on a jap or such cart with the translated version of the same? Onto the same board and everything.

I don't think it's possible. Certain games only work as "donor" carts with certain other games, as far as I know.

Why would one do such a thing? Just use a flash cartridge.

Why do people do the things they do? People are crazy! Wanting to do things! To your sacred games!

If it's the very same game of course it would work, installing the modified software might be more complicated than simply dropping in a new chip though. And no, don't ask me how to do it, look it up yourself.
