Default Diagram for SEGA modification of region lockout model 1

So I have decided to do it. Mod the genesis. However I do not want to install a switch.

1.Just cut the point where it is connected

    2. soilder the points with wires ( I will be using the wire from my etheral cable since it was chewed up by the dog and I have to cut it down again )

Butttttttt................( this is the part where I get umber cheap )

Just tie the wires together when I want to play X game.

SoOOOOOooooooOo................... the only part I am missing the

    1. X switch ( I forget the name )

    2. Images of MOD with markers and details. I can see the wires inside but I do not know where to cut.

I also want to know if I do this will my 32X and SEGA CD still work?

Interesting When the genesis first came out All the good games were getting released in japan first. Egm told us all we had to do was break the tabs and the game would automatically play.

I broke them tabs and it worked and if I recall the game reverted to english. I was importing like crazy

Well the games I have will not work alone just by carving out the tabs. They will only play with the correct settings.

Also I obviously know this since unlike Nintendo's product with SEGA stuff you can just unscrew the bottom and edited away.

I need images of what I have to cut away and with the wires soilder in place.
I found them a couple of times before but then again.

Learn through research, there are a couple different board revisions. No one is going to hold your hand since things come up during modifications even though the theory is always the same.

I don't want anybody to hold my hand I just don't want to make any mistakes. I have seen the image before but I look on the board and all I see is six dots. In fact I will just upload a image myself.

I believe this is the section where I am sappose to cut ( scratch away ) Jp2 from Jp4 and then soilder wires to Jp1 and Jp3 where I would connect them together with a wire or two wires to leave room for a switch.

If I wanted to add a switch I would again soilder wires from Jp2 and Jp4 and then put a switch in between the two/ four wires.

I also found this diagram ( not the original ) that is close to what I need to do but this one does it in one shot.
