    Default Top Loading NES Help....

Hi, I have an original top loading NES that tends to only play some games half of the time... sometimes I even thave to move the cart around or lean the cart foward to get the game to work..... I have opened it and cleaned the motherboard but havent properly cleaned the systems contacts beccause I really dont know how (I do clean the cart however).

whats wrong? what should I do and should I get the official NES cleaning kit of ebay to clean the systems contacts?

    Thanks

It sounds like the pin connector is loose. My SNES is the same way.

Dip a toothbrush in 91% alcohol, and go up and down like you are inserting a cartage, this is a simple, but easy way to clean your pins.

However, if you have been pushing the pins around, they may be loose, and then you are going to have to pull them back out. I am not the best at this, so I won't explain the best way to do it...
