This is crazy. I figured Itagaki would be making DOA until the end of time since he's always talked about it like it was his baby. I suppose a competing publisher like Namco or Capcom would take him aboard. Hell, maybe Midway should make him an offer if the guy likes violence so much.

Tecmo can do whatever it wants with DOA and Ninja Gaiden. Itagaki had no stake in the properties themselves unless there was some joint ownership thing going on (which is incredibly unlikely).

Yeah, which I thought was weird, because it's an excellent conversion. I like the PS3 version of Ninja Gaiden quite a bit.

Seems kind of unlikely considering how much he's slagged those companies' games (specifically their fighting games) over the years.

True. But having to eat is probably a little higher on the list than keeping one's pride. Besides, Itagaki has talked so much shit that I'm not sure he even really believes it anymore or controls it. It's like breathing to him where it just happens unconsciously.

Wow. These kinds of lawsuits are very rare in Japan. However, it does make sense that an outspoken raised nail like Itagaki would do such a thing.

And what's this about Wii Rygar? Is there any info on this game yet? Am I just out of the loop?
