So today I went to a rummage sale and was amazed to find a Vader model 2600. It came with a power cord (c016353), two joysticks, and a few manuals. No RF cable was included, but I had one from another model. It was only $1 so I picked it up. When I got home I cleaned the top of with windex avoiding the switches and cartridge connector and later tried to play it. The T.V. only showed a black screen on chanels 1 and 2 with no sound. I tried it with a few games to no avail. I'm using a HDTV, but I've been able to run my 6 switch on it perfectly. The RF cable I'm using is a newer one that has a Coaxial cable on it.
I opened it up and was surprised by the insides, but found no obvious problems. I'm looking online for guides and found one that said to use sandpaper on the cartridge connector, but I haven't tried it yet. I'm wondering if anyone has ever had this problem before.
I haven't tried it on any other T.V.s mainly because I only have one easy to get to.
