Default Sega Nomad brightness dial came off, how to replace?

I just picked up a Sega Nomad, and the brightness button/dial is off. It was loose in the case, but how do you go about repairing the thing? Looks like I need some sort of special bit to open the thing, but is there any soldering to do?

Yep. Desolder the old pot (dial) off, and solder a new one in. A Game Gear has the same pot, so one of those can be used as a donor.

You will need a 4.5mm security bit to get inside.
