Deoxys's download station cart? How much?

I have a friend who is an assistant manager at a gamestop. He said he would give me the
cart they use for downloading this pokemon after the promotion is over. I was wondering
what it's worth is? I know they have to be rare, cause most places never give them out.

It'll be rare, no question... however this one is date sensitive... it'll work the 3 weeks the offer is going, after that.... 'dead' cart.

From what i've been told GS store #'s are all over them (so if they show up on ebay ect), and if they arn't returned its big time trouble for the store.


However the way DS demo carts have been selling (especially the rare ones) lately, you'd fetch 100+ pretty easily.

Couldnt you just set the date on your system back and the cart work? Doesnt the cart read the system date?

Well, what you could do is find out if there's a way to keep the cart from dying... then offer these Deoxys over eBay. Let people send you their carts, you download 'em, voila.

That is what you'll have to do to keep it functioning. I was just stating that it has a kill method in it. Either way, don't remember that date in 2 years and the cart is as good as dead. Valulable, but dead.

so you are saying that I would have to reset my system clock back every 3 weeks so it never reaches the end of the deadline?
