Default Rare Score - FZ-EM256 (3DO Expansion \ Memory Unit)

    Hello all.

I usually don't post a great deal, but this in this case I must. I have scored a 3DO FZ-EM256 memory unit for the 3DO system. Basically, this allows the user to save games to this unit (memory card) without having to remember\write down a password to continue. This was officially licensed by Panasonic\The 3DO Company - just was released to late before the system got eaten up by the Sony Playstation (among other reasons). The link to the item:

Once received, I'll let you know how it works and the like. If anyone else has own of these, please respond and provide some feedback.

    Thanks!

Thanks squirrel! Link should be working now for the item.

I chose Marriott since that is my field (GM for a hotel).

Congrats, you spent a load of money on something with limited usefulness.

... but the 3DO already has internal memory. Is this just to augment that, or what?

Also, they sure didn't put a lot of effort into making this very aesthetically pleasing... I was expecting something small and streamlined that just barely extended from the system itself, while it ended up just looking like a USB hard drive... a box tethered to another box.

It also makes the 3DO Daggerfall-compatible!

    (horrible joke of course)

I agree Ed - I have a few of those choice pieces you listed as well. The 3DO M2 is a great one in this category - I just love to kick back and watch that Chevy promo every Friday night
