Few weeks ago, picked up Crazy Taxi 3 at PlayNTrade. It comes up as No Disk on my Xbox, but reads fine on my 360. If M$ would provide compatibility support, I wouldn't have a problem. The disk is a bit scratched, but more toward the outer edges. I'm still within the 30 day return policy.

I came home tonight with Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance, which is actually in good condition, as I expect from the Gamestop I got it from. However, this one will read in NOTHING. In the Xbox, No Disk. In the 360, doesn't detect a disk. In my laptop, it ejects and tells me to insert a disk if I try to open it from My Computer. I even reinstalled my Xbox dashboard, thinking it was a corrupted driver or something, but no luck.

I can't make it to either place within the next week, as I'm going out of town. PlayNTrade has an awesome 30 day return policy against defects, but Gamestop has only 7. Is there anything else I should try before returning them, or is this definitely a case of (odd) defects? I've never had a defective game before, so I'm pretty shocked.
