Default Looking for info on the Interact V-Mem

I got this from a purchase and thought it was a simply plug and use, but when I did that all I got was the V-mem screen and that was it. Does anyone here have any experience using this device? or have access to documentation for it? google searches yield no results.

    Thanks in advance

if i'm not mistaken its a memory card x 8?, I think you might need a disc to manage it, i'm not exactly sure... I had a gameshark pro back in the day that had the v-mem feature built in...

I bought one of these a couple years ago (new old stock from a local dollar store) and I still have the manual! I haven't used the card, but here's what the manual says:

    'Instruction for Use'

To access V-Mem, you will need to hold down any button on the controller connected to Controller Port #1, and then turn the Playstation ON. Continue holding the button until the V-Mem title screen appears. To bypass V-Mem, simply power up the Playstation without pressing any buttons on the game controller.

I don't have my Playstation hooked up at the moment, but I can try mine out later if you're still having problems.

I used to use that memory card back in the day. It worked 100% perfect for me, never lost a single save file. I highly recomend using it. Anyway, my old school ps1 broke down on me, went out and bought another one, didn't relize sony had blocked the back port on the newer model, and the memory card was now a paper weight for me. I still might have it somewhere in my closet, but the im thinking the instruction on how to use it are long gone.

Thanks! That did the trick, but there's still some things I'm not clear on, is there any way I can convince you to scan that manual?

Here's the scanned copy of the manual -- hopefully this will help you out:
