Was there ever any doubt of this? The DLC news is cool, though I don't actually own any.

While I'm sure I'll be snagging a copy of both RB2 and GH4, I think Harmonix's decision to NOT have a song/track-creation tool in RB2 will put it in the back-seat this year while users are making and trading songs in GH4.

Unless there are some major improvements and new stuff to RB2, I may just stick with the first one, being that the DLC is backwards compatible.

I think I have a case of burn-out setting in with these guitar-based rhythm games.

I'll say pass for now, unless it's a huge improvement on the previous.
RIP bargora, you will be greatly missed. That is how we do things on Giedion Prime.

Nice...If this comes out on PS2 or Wii, I'll probably buy it (Though I'm eventually going to buy a PS3)

True enough. Kind of like a breaking news story; "Bakers announce that they will bake bread tomorrow starting early in the morning. Details at 11."

    Don't you mean forward compatible?

so much for RB as a platform...it didn't even last a year (Insert standard EA joke here).

Yeah, I thought I read somewhere that RB was going to be the only game in the series released for awhile...that they would support it with DLC and patches, and then wait until they had a really new innovative product. I would have sworn they said they wouldn't release another RB in a year.
