Sims

I know there aren't many sim fans here, but it's one of my favorite games. I have decided to go back to my original family and remodel their house since I haven't done much with them in 3 expansions and a gajillion downloads. Here is their photo album so far (it's big) and I think it proves how PC Sims can be much more fun then the console version.
Sailor Moon has since married Tuxedo Mask, but Ulala and Darth Vader are still happily married with child (who randomly turned out to be a nerdy Rini from Sailor Moon) and girls will still not talk to Johnen Vasquez. I have had to restart their house so many times because Johnen tried to commit suicide in a fiery death that I'm thinking of removing the stove completely. They really do seem to follow the persona you would think of them.. Johnen is suicidal, Rini is annoying, Ulala likes to dance, and Darth really likes.. well he likes gnomes a lot for some reason. That one doesn't really fit. Oh but he does like space!

I absolutely love SIMS, but I've been reluctant to buy the console version since past PC to console game conversions have been a bit of a let-down (Civilization, Diablo, Sim City....). How is the console version? Much different than the PC version?
