I have never been to any classic gaming convension before. I have a 6 hr drive as well, but I think this is the closest one to me. Can't afford CGE this year so this will do!

Your driving 6 hours eh? It's only about 3 hours for me, maybe my 3.5 hours isn't that bad after all. Anyone know if trading will be allowed there? I've never been to one of these things before either, and this one is held in a High School, and not someones house, so I wondered if trading will be encouraged at the Midwest Classic?

If your into classic consoles and such,as well as pinball machines I would think this would be worth it.
I've mostly been to Jagfests and CGE(2k and 2k2 were the only one I've been too for CGE(as for jagfest: every one except for 1998 and 2k)
Before that it was Ti-faires in chicago and mars merchandisings swap meets.
(and I've been to CES'94 in chicago too : ) )
Anyways, I'm getting a ride to MWC this year(my brother drove me to wi
in2k1 for Jagfest) from another person in IL since we will be sharing the same area.
(don't forget a month after MWC theres the VGS in IL(I'll be making an anouncment soon about what to expect there as soon I get the deatils straightened out(schedule wise))

The day is here and I am definitely going. For all who don't know, Midwest Classic is being held at 6701 N Jean Nicolet Rd in Glendale Wisconsin. Doors open at 10 AM and tickets are $8 for adults and children 12 and under are free.

Well, after being spoiled by CGE last year, I have to admit I was
a bit disappointed. The free-play pinball games, and Midi-Maze
were a blast. I felt the vender area needed more sellers.
Also their museum area was small and didn't have much. Maybe
this show will get better as it gets older. Can't wait till CGE!

I've never been to CGE but for the space they were given I think they did pretty good. I even saw some DP Guides being used!

Though I live in the Midwest, I'm afraid I can't make it to this year's CGE.

A shame...I'm nicer in person, and I do like to meet people and talk about things.

About this museum section...one of these days I'll have to take along some of my stuff (when I actually can say I have a collection) and set it up. Fun :D
