Chrono Trigger for sure.
For straight visuals Saga Frontier 2 for PS1 immediately comes too mind. Although I did not care for the game itself it was very, very pretty.
Ridge Racer Type 4

The Commodore 64 version was good but, like many games during that era, the load times killed it. The Amiga version was jaw dropping at the time.
E.T. for 2600!
I also 2nd Gran Turismo.
Another vote for: Donkey Kong Country! Also, Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Gunstar Heroes for the Genesis. Hard to go wrong with that one

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned Street Fighter III. I still remember the day I walked into my local arcade and saw "THREE" for the first time. Mindblowing graphics at the time.

! You can't be serious... But I honestly really REALLY like the game. It got TONS of flack, but my friends and I used to play it all the time. We loved it!
Thank you! I guess I don't need to nominate Astal since it's already been done. Not only were the music and the graphics beautiful but they also had a style all their own.
Yep! This game absolutely rocks!!! One thing the Saturn Panzer Dragoon games did better than anyother game then or now were the skies. Honestly who can forget the first time they played PD Zwei. It was a breath taking moment when Lagi flew off the cliff in the second level and learned to fly and you were heading into the most beautiful sunset ever captured.
I think all the Panzer games had Jaw dropping sun sets, sun rises, clouds, etc. I have never seen another game have such picturesque skies.
If a god is willing to prevent evil, but not able, then he is not omnipotent. If he is able, but not willing, then he must be malevolent. If he is both willing and able, then why is there evil? If he is neither able or willing then why call him a god?
