As well as announcing a European release date of August 27th for the 80GB PS3, we've finally got a UK release date and price for PlayTV: September 10th @ Eur99 (about 80 quid).

Currently it only seems to work with Freeview, but I'm sure it will also work with FreeSat (after a firmware upgrade) if Sony can sort that out.
