I have found that the Genesis followers are not as rabid as the nintendo ones. While it had tons of games it never gained the mystique that Nintendo had. Maybe it was that nintendos more first party successes and was a lock at being a family oriented machine.
I always loved the genesis cases. I have found in order to move genesis products you have have some of the more rarer titles or catch a buyer at the right time.

This may be coming a little late but I have talked to this guy over the past month or so and he has been very nice to me and helpful. I have asked him questions about where to find good deals in our area and he has been the only collector that has been more than willing to help me out. I dont know what has gone down in the past but as of recent, he has been pretty decent.

I honestly think a lot of peoples attitudes and actions clash on this forum. I have seen people who make these great "Finds" all the time and sell it at an inflated cost. Also, there are people who work at thrift and goodwills who make "Finds" and sell them for a big profit. Everyone here in the buying and selling forum is trying to make money. I was looking for an SNES a few weeks ago and got a PM from a guy offering to sell one to me for $45. Maybe some of you think thats a deal, but I easily found a few on Craigslist for $25. I can understand your questioning that he did not list the games. Instead of ragging on him about it maybe someone could recommend other options instead of listing them one by one in the thread(Taking photos/Creating a game list or trade list).

Not to be the master of the obvious, but if you're not selling anything, lower the prices. It doesn't matter if you think what you're asking for is fair (it very well may be), but if you want to push product you have to price it that way.

Looks like there is more than enough interest in listing these games. Just remember, the prices are what will make the difference. I am currently looking for SNES & Genesis games, if you still have you old list of genny games, add that to your list.

Agreed, you mentioned having other lists... bring 'em back in this sale. Hell at this point, you know what they say... 'no PR is bad PR'. At least you got everyone looking so... bring 'em on. By the way... again, you're talking directly to all your customers. Telling them "if i make lists you better buy them" again... does not ingratiate you with your customer base.

Also... how are we supposed to be buying the games otherwise? lists are required here, it's not a rule or anything it's literally how you do it. you're asking us to reach into a box called "$7 genesis games" randomly after paying.

i have done lists before and it was for no good.

People just ask me to make lists because they hate me and want me to waste the time doing it and they will not even look at it.

I know thats just some of you. There are some of you who are also good people.

I made a list also of a ton of xbox games and sold none still.

I just like to see first if its worth making a list, im not saying i wont do it, i was planning on it.

also, as another helpful tip (if anything i've said's been helpful) - this is you know... whatcha call it... an 'economic downturn'. The problem with forum selling is that you don't have the clear searchability that eBay has. So you have to hope your thread is up at the right time when the person that wants what you have with money is viewing. But when you do you do well.

Don't take this part of the forums seriously, if only because it's not personal. It's business - very literally.

If you want some tips on how to make 'making a list' go a lot quicker let me know. I'm not that great but i might know a thing or two that will make it go easier for you.
