Like the thread says, just looking for a good place to get some LEDS in bulk. If any of you know of a place, lemme know

(I think this belongs here? This is as close to a hardware forum as we have...)

Try www.digikey.com, they sell in bulk and I believe they have a minimum that you must buy. The more you buy, the less the price. You can call them and let them know what you need. It might be faster than searching through their online catalog. I've also used http://www.alliedelec.com/ and e-bay for leds and various electronics.

electronix express is where I get mine for school. Search for it on yahoo. Great deals if you buy 100 or more.

Just what do you mean by bulk? If your talking real bulk...like 1000 or more let me know and I can get you some good asian sources. I quote electronic parts for a living and believe a reel of 1000 LED's should cost you around $15. You can also try ebay for reels and bulk lots of electronics parts.

For more hobby friendly quantities (10-100 or so) I made this thread showing where to get parts of all types. I think that LED's are first in the list.

Compare with eBay, too. Tons of of bulk LED lots straight outta China. Shipping has always been quick for me. Just be sure you know exactly the kind of specs you're looking for.
