So in 2006, Metro Conventions held a "mini Metrocon" in addition to their normal yearly convention. This event, called "Amano's World," centered around Yoshitaka Amano, as he was the special guest. In addition to speaking (with a translator) and answering fan questions, he drew at least four original ink paintings. One was a moogle, another was D, another was a character from G-Force, and a fourth that I cannot identify. These paintings, aside from the G-Force one, were raffled off. Tickets were $5, and the other prizes included art classes at the Ringling School. I bought ONE ticket, and amazingly, I won the painting that I cannot identify. I got to personally thank him and shake his hand.
It's a bit large, and I don't have a frame big enough. Since I got it, it's been rolled up in my closet. If anyone can help me, I'd like to know what it's worth and what character it is. No, it is not for sale.
